Tom Daly
vp, interface design

Tom Daly oversees all aspects of the consumer online experience for House Party. He got his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and very quickly became absorbed in the frenzy of the multi-media world of the mid to late 90s. Along with thousands of other designers, he first learned "Web Design," during what can be called the dark days of the web, when usability and accessibility were not yet spouting from the tips of our tongues. Then a decade later, along with those very same thousands of designers, relearned "Web Design" as we now know it.
There were detours along the way. But none that did not add to a body of knowledge now being applied at House Party. Tom spent a few years working at MTV Animation studios painting backgrounds for cartoons, serving as Color Supervisor for "Spy Groove," and creating digital special effects for the infamous Celebrity Deathmatch series. (The best part about that job was telling his grandmother over the phone that he was busy making Keanu Reeve's head explode and had to call her back!)
After MTV Animation closed its studio doors, Tom founded NYC Labs, a boutique design shop based out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn with two partners. With NYC Labs, Tom created show package graphics for a Celebrity biography series that aired on Bravo called "Backspin," and created lots of fun websites for small to midsize businesses.
House Party became a client of NYC Labs, and the rest is history as they say.
